Everything you might want to know about tennis coaching and re-stringing
Petra Ratajova LLB (Hons) – qualified Tennis Professional with qualifications from Slovakia, Great Britain and Australia.
Welcome to my personal website dedicated to tennis coaching and re-stringing. I started learning tennis when I was about 8. I have been playing tennis for over 19 years. As a junior I competed in regional and national tournaments where I had some success.
I started coaching tennis in 2004 and since I have acquired extensive domestic and international experience which I would like to share with my tennis pupils.
I am qualified through the Slovak Tennis Association, the British Lawn Tennis Association and through Tennis Australia which possibly makes me the most global tennis coach.
While I was studying for a degree at British university I gained experience in three different tennis clubs, where I worked alongside highly experienced and successful Tennis Professionals with extensive experience in both competitive and recreational tennis. During that time I had catered for players of all ages and playing standard. I had also played competitive doubles matches for one of the English tennis clubs.
After nearly six years spent in England, I moved to Sydney in Australia where I worked for the former world professional, the winner of several Grand Slam titles. In this position, I learnt a lot of new skills that have helped me become a more competent coach.

I have gained an additional qualification through Tennis Australia by completing their course at the Olympic Park, Homebush, where the Medibank International Sydney tennis tournament takes place every January. This experience has given me some additional ideas of how to make my tennis lessons even better.
After almost two years spent in beautiful Australia I have decided to return back to Europe where I am hoping to use my international experience and knowledge further.
